BACC offers summer camp at one of our sites, (typically, summer programming is offered at our Brier Elementary/Glankler School site but may take place at another site based on demand or school site schedules). For enrollment information, call the main office: 510-490-4222
The summer program offers educational and exploratory activities through weekly themes. Daily grade-level curriculum work is embedded within our summer programming to enhance each child’s academic growth for one hour daily.
During the summer, we take the school-aged children on local field trips at least once per week. In house special activities such as hands on science with our science teacher, learning through movement with our dance teacher and organized sports with our team sports assistants are embedded within the weekly program.
In addition, summer activities also include: story time, arts and crafts, music, computer activities, cooking activities, games, puzzles, outdoor play, math and science projects, social studies projects, dramatic play, and other activities organized throughout the day.
A morning and afternoon snack is provided by the program, with students bringing lunch from home.
Our summer camp is typically located at our Brier/Glankler site or at our Gomes site. Summer camp may rotate between the different BACC sites based on enrollment; Please speak with your Site Supervisor for the summer camp location
Our summer program is open Monday-Friday from 7:00 am – 6:00 pm.
We offer weekly summer camp rates that are both full time and part time. Tuition rates are based on weekly enrollment. This allows for flexibility
We sure do! We go on weekly field trips all within Fremont. Our trips are either within walking distance or we take a chartered FUSD bus. Field trips are optional so if children want to opt out that’s not a problem; Our summer program continues on site
